About Us

Hello, and welcome to

Forge  on the Green.

We are so excited to be

able to share our vision

and story with you.

Some of our favourite things in life,

are great coffee, delicious simple food, beautiful joinery, art, friendships & family. Forge on the Green encompasses all of these under one roof.

We also believe that anyone can succeed in life, with the right support and opportunities. This is the reason we set up the Hurstcote Charitable Trust. We have chosen to run our coffee shop as a social enterprise, with all of the profits supporting our charitable aims. Please see our separate pages for our Forging Futures programme and the wonderful people involved.

We look forward to welcoming you to Forge on the Green.

Coffee

Coco is our coffee expert and has been working with us on this project for almost two years.

Her journey to Forge on the Green has spanned four continents, working on coffee plantations, roasting, training, competitions and setting up cafes in New York and London.

The coffee we serve at Forge on the Green is from two producers in Brazil and has been carefully roasted and blended for Coco, for us. The taste notes are milk chocolate, caramel

and plum.

Coco’s passion lies in setting up new cafes, looking at each aspect including design, operations and that the customer experience

is first class.

If you have any coffee questions, come in and

ask Coco.

Food

Our chef Clara Doxford, is passionate about

all things foodie, and loves cooking with the seasons.

Clara's food is simple, but seriously tasty,

and our seasonal menu reflects this.

Clara's homemade tarts and salads are packed full of flavour, and her Forge secret recipe sausage roll is getting quite a name for itself!

Clara’s cakes are also delicious, and you would never know that most of them are gluten free.

We are so thrilled to have Clara as part of the Forge on the Green team.

Volunteers

We are so lucky to have some very special friends who are volunteering at Forge on

Their smiling faces and their continued support has meant so much, and we are extremely grateful.
